Michelle M. Hawes focuses her practice in consumer and debtor bankruptcy, creditor rights and collection, personal injury, civil litigation and appeals.
During law school, Ms. Hawes took a very active role in the legal community, participating in the Pro Bono Collaborative which creates legal opportunities for Affordable Housing in Rhode Island. She earned awards from the Housing Network and the Feinstein Institute for her work. She also benefited from the experience gained as a clerk/intern for judges in both the Rhode Island Superior Court and the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
